# SceneRecap > SceneRecap is an AI screen recorder for Chrome. Record a bug, a workflow or a session — silently — and the AI reads the pixels and clicks to write a bug report with repro steps, a step-by-step guide, a plain explanation or a recap. Every claim links to its exact second in the video. SceneRecap is made by Neurotech AI Solutions GmbH (Germany). Contact: contact@scenerecap.com. Data is hosted in the EU on Google Cloud. Product category: AI screen recorder / screen recording → bug report, tutorial, explanation, recap. Chrome extension + web app + REST API, plus an embeddable bug-reporting widget that lets a customer's own website visitors record and file bugs. ## Start here - [What it is, in one paragraph](https://scenerecap.com/#what-is): plain description and FAQ - [AI screen recorder](https://scenerecap.com/ai-screen-recorder): head-term overview page - [Screen recording → bug report](https://scenerecap.com/screen-recording-to-bug-report): repro steps, expected vs actual, first bad moment, console/network evidence, one-click GitHub/Linear/Jira - [Screen recording → step-by-step guide / SOP](https://scenerecap.com/screen-recording-to-documentation): steps + screenshots + timestamps, PDF/DOCX/Markdown/Notion export - [Screen recording → SOP](https://scenerecap.com/screen-recording-to-sop): standard operating procedures for ops, support and enablement teams; one action per step, a screenshot each, a timestamp trail back to the recording - [Loom video → step-by-step guide](https://scenerecap.com/loom-to-documentation): upload a Loom export (or any MP4/WebM/MOV) and get a written guide; no click log in an uploaded file, so evidence is visual only - [Live example recording](https://scenerecap.com/s/demo): a real AI bug report generated from a 70-second silent recording - [Bug reporting widget](https://scenerecap.com/bug-reporting-widget): one script tag; your own visitors record the bug, the AI writes the report, duplicates are grouped - [Explained gallery](https://scenerecap.com/explained): a public feed of real recordings and the reports the AI produced from them - Repro Agent (Pro and above, opt-in, metered): re-drives a bug report headlessly against an origin you control and reports whether it actually reproduces — reproduced / not reproduced / ambiguous / blocked, grounded in a real network or console signal. A finished run downloads as a Playwright regression test (.spec.ts) that fails while the bug reproduces and passes once it is fixed. Widget reports are evidence-only and are not re-driven. - Takes (Pro and above, opt-in, metered from the shared agent-run allowance): the agent re-performs a recording's real flow against a verified origin and records a clean retake — always grounded in a real recording (never a bare prompt), a private draft until the requester approves it, and permanently labelled "performed by agent" on every plan. It never enters credentials; an auth wall ends the take as blocked. ## Product - [Features](https://scenerecap.com/features) - [Use cases](https://scenerecap.com/use-cases) - [Pricing](https://scenerecap.com/pricing): Free (1 recording, 1 min, Explain, Bug Report and Tutorial), Pro $16/mo, Team $20/seat/mo, Enterprise - Reporting widget add-on: $39/mo on top of any plan, 200 analysed reports included, then $0.25 per report - [Free bug report generator](https://scenerecap.com/tools/bug-report-generator): paste a rough description, get a structured bug report — no account needed - [Free step-by-step guide generator](https://scenerecap.com/tools/step-by-step-guide-generator): paste rough notes about a process, get a clean numbered how-to guide (prerequisites, steps, tips) as Markdown — no account needed - [Security](https://scenerecap.com/security) ## Compare - [vs Loom](https://scenerecap.com/compare/loom) - [vs Jam](https://scenerecap.com/compare/jam) - [vs Scribe](https://scenerecap.com/compare/scribe) - [vs Tango](https://scenerecap.com/compare/tango) ## Docs - [Getting started](https://scenerecap.com/docs/getting-started) - [AI modes: Explain, Tutorial, Bug Report, Recap](https://scenerecap.com/docs/ai-modes) - [Privacy and redaction](https://scenerecap.com/docs/privacy-and-redaction) - [Integrations: GitHub, Linear, Jira, Slack, Notion](https://scenerecap.com/docs/integrations) - [API and webhooks](https://scenerecap.com/docs/api): full REST reference — bearer keys, cursor pagination, RFC 7807 errors, HMAC-signed webhooks - [Repro Agent: verdicts, verified origins, allowances](https://scenerecap.com/docs/repro-agent) - [Takes: agent-performed retakes, review-before-save, provenance](https://scenerecap.com/docs/performed-takes) - [Reporting widget: install, options, privacy](https://scenerecap.com/docs/widget) - [Embedding a recording](https://scenerecap.com/docs/embed): iframe player and oEmbed - [Teams and billing](https://scenerecap.com/docs/teams-and-billing) ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://scenerecap.com/legal/privacy) - [Terms](https://scenerecap.com/legal/terms) - [DPA](https://scenerecap.com/legal/dpa) - [Subprocessors](https://scenerecap.com/legal/subprocessors) - [Imprint](https://scenerecap.com/legal/imprint) ## Optional - [Full text for LLMs](https://scenerecap.com/llms-full.txt) - [Sitemap](https://scenerecap.com/sitemap.xml)
