Exports (no setup)

From any ready recording, the Export menu renders Markdown, HTML, PDF (with step screenshots), DOCX and a 6-second GIF highlight of the key moment. "Copy as" puts issue-ready text on your clipboard for GitHub, Linear, Jira (wiki markup) and Slack.

Connected integrations (Pro)

Workspace admins connect providers under Dashboard → Integrations. Tokens are encrypted at rest and only the content you explicitly send leaves SceneRecap.

  • GitHub / Linear / Jira — set the repository, team or project once; then "File issue" on a bug report creates it with the AI-written body and a link back to the recording.
  • Notion — set a parent page; "Export to Notion" writes the tutorial/SOP as a page.
  • Slack — set a channel to receive a message when a recording finishes processing.

Webhooks & API

For anything else, use API keys and signed webhooks — Zapier and Make work out of the box.
